Established in 2017, and releasing our first wines from the 2021 vintage, we have been met with an extraordinary level of support — for which we cannot thank you enough. The encouragement and praise our wines have received in such a short time has been deeply humbling, and this moment is very much one to share with the entire team behind the wines, whose dedication and care have made it possible.
A true passion project, Granjoux was revived in 2017 from its original 19th-century, Clos-style vineyard, and today produces very limited quantities of ultra-premium Chardonnay and Shiraz (with a touch of Viognier). These are wines that have been sought out and supported by you — our collectors and fellow lovers of fine wine — over the past few years, and we are deeply grateful for that ongoing trust.
Meticulous viticulture, naturally tiny yields from single-stake vines, and the thoughtful, restrained winemaking of Mark Walpole and Adrian Rodda combine to produce wines of clarity, depth and quiet intensity. Each release is scarce by nature, shaped by place and season rather than volume.
